From December(2017) end I had started to plan for Bhutan Trip. My husband confirmed me, that he had no leaves, so will not join.I had created an group for the trip also.But Man proposes & God Disposes. After booking train ticket & flight tickets, the group members of my team denied to join. But I can't afford the loss to cancelling the ticket. So on Jan(2018) end, I had contacted one of my friend Wrick, who live in Sikkim & spend approx 12 yrs in Sikkim, for the Bhutan trip. He told me, due to his bad health, it is not possible for him, to go Bhutan.....BUT...... At first I ignore his 'But'....I was so disappointed,I did not at the mood to listen the full sentence.....Then I concentrate the rest part of his sentence....He offered that I can visit his place Sikkim & can experience the same beauty of nature. I thought it is not possible to go Bhutan solo not because that i need any company but it will be costly dear for a solo traveller.Also i don't want to bear the loss of ticket cancellation also.So I decided to go Sikkim. And this time my decision was perfect.
My flight was 27th Feb 5.30am. As Delhi Airport is approx 35km from my home, so I decided to stay night at airport. On 26th Night I booked a cab & tart my journey towards Delhi airport. It took hardly 45mints to reach airport.I was at the airport gate at about 11:20pm.This is the 2nd time I was alone on the airport gate.But belief me I was not nervous. My mom always say that i don't have the feelings of 'fear'....for some cases it is true. I pined my mobile in to charging point & sat near a TV screen. On the TV, it was showing the beautiful places with amazing scenic beauty. At about 2:20am, I asked the guard when boarding pass would be issued for the flight 5.30am. He told me the window was just open, so before starting a large ques, took your boarding pass.
At the time of taking Boarding pass, I politely asked the attending person, to give me the window seat without the wing obstacle. He told me, he allotted me the desired seat, as per my wish.I gifted him a happy smile.
As it was very early morning, security was too loose. I have crossed the security checking. I had approx 2.30hrs before boarding the flight. I just went & took a seat at the waiting area.
It was a cool morning.I reached near the airbus, The sky was light dark. Saw the large airbuses here and there. It was quite thrilling.
The flight left the Delhi airport right time.It was quite dark, so not able to view the Delhi city aerial view. I was little bit tired. so take a little nap. suddenly I woke up...I saw the beautiful scene outside....It was dawn....the sun was just woke up....just like me, he also spreads his arm....that created a mix colour of rays in the sky....I never seen such type of aerial sunrise.
on the contrary, I can see the lighting of city just below the sky.But Good things does not last for long.....the clouds came & just wipe out everything.....only the sound of engine remained.I can see only the red drum type part of the airbus.
I reached Calcutta Subhas Chandra Airport at about 8:30am.After taking my luggage, I tried to search bus to go to either Howrah station or some known place from where I can go my home. I asked a taxi/cab driver regarding the taxi fare. He is so gentleman,that instead of fare, he suggested me to take a bus, opposite side of airport. I rushed to that direction, as from net , I came to know, that buses are available only when flights are reached....if you are late you need to wait for long time.I took the bus & reached home at about 11am.
Tomorrow our visit to Gangtok
